Women and girls in many countries of the developing world, including Uganda are often denied opportunities for access education and the needed training to build their confidence.
This chronically leaves them economically incapacitated. Lack of education limits prospects, decreases family income, reduces health, puts women and girls at risk of abuse and exploitation, and limits the economic advancement of entire communities and Uganda at large.
The IWCA Uganda Chapter aims to strengthen its role in mentoring, capacity development through education, mentoring, skill-building and knowledge transfer for women, on aspects of coffee productivity within the coffee value chain.
